Dr. Tan is a qualified and experienced orthodontist. Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics is a dental specialty that requires completion of a 2-3 year residency after dental school. Dr. Tan is an accredited member of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) and has had many years of experience. She is also Board Certified, which means she has passed rigorous written and oral exams discussing actual patient cases she has treated. She is also committed to learning new methodologies and technologies such as aligner treatment, lingual braces, and MSE expanders.
Dr. Tan is excellent working with children. Her years of experience as Clinical Assistant Professor at UT School of Dentistry, Dept. of Pediatric Dentistry, and from working at 2private pediatric dental practices, has made her very adept at making children relax and have fun.
Low-volume patient scheduling. Our team is dedicated to providing the highest quality care and service. Therefore, we schedule a maximum of 3 patients at a time. This ensures each patient gets adequate supervision and attention can be paid to detail. Dr. Tan does not delegate important treatment procedures, such as wire bending, to assistants, and she makes herself available to answer any questions at each visit.
Customized treatment plans. All treatment plans are individualized to each patient's unique set of problems and progress. Treatment decisions and choice of materials are based on scientific evidence whenever possible and with patient comfort in mind. This makes treatment more efficient, predictable and stable.

Your convenience is our priority. We offer in-house orthodontic records so you don't need to go to a separate lab. We provide convenient hours and we are committed to running on time. Our staff will pre-verify insurance benefits and file claims for you.
